Meaning“leaf” in Finnish, Lehti found its inspiration from the shape of a leaf. Designed in the 1950s, the form of the Lehti chair was ahead of its time. The combination of a padded funnel-shaped seat and metal tube legs gives it a light, balanced feel. The delicate and durable lounge chair suits various areas of the home and public spaces alike.
The appearance of the Lehti lounge chair depends on the chosen upholstery and metal legs, which are available in a chrome, brass, copper or bronze-coloured finish, or painted black or white.
Ornäs products are handcrafted at its own workshop in Hollola, Finland.
We have exclusive rights to the manufacture of furniture designed by Carl-Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs. Many of the pieces received their form decades ago. The legacy also continues in Ornäs furniture designed today.
