The Capri table with its solid wood frame has a minimalist, geometric form. The table is made up of rectangular shapes stripped down to the essentials. The Capri table suits a variety of uses from a coffee table to a console table or side table.
Hiort af Ornäs designed the Capri table in the 1960s. He believed in craftsmanship, quality and intricate finishes. His deep respect for wood allowed no compromises. The simple, geometric shape of the Capri table shines the spotlight on textures. All Ornäs furniture is handcrafted at its own workshop in Hollola, Finland.
Due to a belief in unique design, all Ornäs wood frame furniture is available in several types of wood: a walnut oak or birch frame.
We have exclusive rights to the manufacture of furniture designed by Carl-Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs. Many of the pieces received their form decades ago. The legacy also continues in Ornäs furniture designed today.
Ornäs furniture is handcrafted at its own workshop in Hollola, Finland, using the finest materials. Each piece is created with respect to the present and future.
